Trash Day roadmap and dev plans
Steam only at launch, more platforms 'later,' couch co-op uncommitted. Six areas and a full soundtrack ship on October 13.

What the team has said about the future
Off By One Games answers roadmap questions in public more often than most studios — the pinned FAQ and the Steam forum carry real answers to launch-adjacent questions. Here is everything stated about life after October 13, with the exact wording where it matters.
Platforms after launch
"We are a small team of 3, so only Steam at launch to keep the release timeline reasonable. Would love to reach more platforms later."
No console versions, no Play Store listing, no Epic release — Steam, PC, that is it for now. Anything else is speculation until the studio says otherwise.
Couch co-op
"There were more requests for this than we expected. Similar to our reasons for not wanting to release a large range of consoles, we don't want to commit to features that might disproportionately delay the full game."
Translation: heavily requested, deliberately uncommitted. Do not buy this game for split screen.
More playable species
"While raccoons are the priority, we would love to expand the number of furry friends represented if there is time before release."
Possums, foxes, tanukis and cats are all community asks (see the cosmetics page); none are confirmed.
Confirmed for launch itself
- Six areas — the demo was one
- A full soundtrack — demo used a partial one
- New obstacles layered on the demo's hazards
- Online co-op for up to 6 players — up from the 4 the reveal announcement mentioned
The studio behind it
Off By One Games is a 3-person studio whose members worked together on Rocket League for over a decade before this, their first title. They are candid about inspiration — the FAQ's answer to "RV There Yet Much?" is "You caught us. RV There Yet? was a big inspiration and we're not ashamed to say it."
How to read this page
Everything above is quoted or paraphrased from official channels as of October 6, 2026. When the studio posts post-launch plans — DLC, new areas, mod support — they land here first, with dates. Until then, the honest roadmap is: six areas, one wagon, October 13.
